Just when the stories about corrupt legislators in the General Assembly couldn’t have gotten better theres more. The NC Legislative Black Caucus has been dealing with questionable ethics for sometime. Coupled with the charges against Rep. Wright it only makes for more bad publicity for North Carolina’s black lawmakers. The most amusing/fishy part of this story is the fact that a fellow black Rep. , Alma Adams, was the one investigating the books of the Black Caucus and filing the report. She has at this time declined to release the audits from 2005 and 2006 which leaves many ethical questions unanswered and the credibility of the report open to question.

Blacks always complain about toxic waste dumps in their communities, the simple fact is that black officials are cheaper to bribe.
One can only wonder how much more it will take to wake people up. Working at the General Assembly at one point myself, the Black Caucus sticks together like a pack no matter what.
I think black people need to wake up and get their head out of their butts!!!!!!!!!
