Being a North Carolinian, whether born and bred or a newcomer, means understanding the role our state played in the War Between the States and the sacrifices so many of our ancestors made. Over 120,000 North Carolinians fought for the Confederacy and nearly 40,000, one out of every three, died or were injured in the service of the Cause. It is fitting and proper that we honor them and educate our young about this legacy. As members of the CofCC these events allow us not only communion with our people but a chance to promote our efforts to individuals of like mind. The following reenactments are coming up soon in North Carolina.
